In the summer, ACE provides a youth garden program focused on learning the basics of gardening, learning about plants, propagation and pollination. Each week they also do some cooking to learn about healthy eating and different ethnic foods and traditions. This year we will be expanding our program by encouraging students to bring a family member or neighbor to help build relationships in families and the community.
En el verano, ACE ofrece un programa de jardinería para jóvenes centrado en aprender los conceptos básicos de jardinería, aprender sobre plantas, propagación y polinización. Cada semana también cocinan para aprender sobre alimentación saludable y diferentes comidas y tradiciones étnicas. Este año vamos a expandir nuestro programa alentando a los estudiantes a que traigan a un familiar o vecino para ayudar a construir relaciones en las familias y la comunidad.
